In Taiwan, the tuition and miscellaneous fees of undergraduate programs vary according to different colleges or types of universities. Generally speaking, private universities are more expensive than public ones, and the tuition fees of College of Medicine is usually the highest, following by Colleges of Engineering, Science and Agriculture, whereas Colleges of Humanity, Law, Business and Education are the lowest. Also, the tuition and miscellaneous fees for international students are greater than overseas Chinese students, who pay the same fees as for local students.

The following fees are for one semester in academic year 2021-2022. There are two semesters in one academic year: Spring (starting from February) and Fall (September). Each semester lasts for 18 weeks (4.5 months).

Some universities may offer tuition fee waivers to overseas Chinese students, and there are also various scholarships and grants available for overseas Chinese students. You may know more about this in “Scholarships and Grants for Overseas Chinese Students”.
